✔ Passport – Required for crossing the Transnistrian border (no visa needed for most tourists, but registration is required upon arrival).

✔ Moldovan Lei & Some Cash in Euros/USD – While some places accept credit cards, it’s best to have cash. Transnistria uses its own currency (Transnistrian Ruble), which isn’t exchangeable outside the region.


🎒 Practical Essentials:


✔ Comfortable walking shoes – You’ll be exploring fortresses, streets, and markets.

✔ Weather-appropriate clothing – Dress in layers in cooler months and bring sun protection in summer.

✔ Small backpack – Useful for carrying water, snacks, and personal items.

✔ Power bank & phone charger – Electricity is the same as in Moldova (European plugs).
